Sausage Parkour received a small hotfix focused on camera performance and cleaner gameplay controls.
This update improves how Security Monitor cameras behave around the hub and makes the controls hint less intrusive during normal gameplay.
What changed:
Smarter Security Cameras
Security cameras now activate only when they are actually relevant. When the player is far from the Security Monitor or inside a level, unnecessary camera rendering is disabled.
Cleaner Controls Hint
The controls panel no longer stays permanently open during gameplay. It can now be expanded or hidden with a small lower-left "Controls [F]" prompt.
Cursor Fix
Fixed an issue where the mouse cursor could stay active during normal gameplay after spawning.
Performance Polish
Camera feeds keep clearer quality near the monitor while avoiding unnecessary background rendering when the monitor is not in use.
Important: camera feeds may appear frozen when viewed from far away. This is intentional for performance.
Removed clutter:
The always-visible controls block was removed from the left side of the HUD, and constant background rendering from security camera feeds is no longer used when the monitor is not needed.
Known issues:
Broader polish tasks are still planned: localization audit, lobby privacy checks, expanded community links, credits, and copy-link feedback.
This hotfix continues the recovery polish path before larger content updates.
