Grid Royale 1.1: matchmaking, emotes and win streaks
A look at the major 18 August update and what changed after version 1.0.
Grid Royale 1.0 launched on 13 August with five arenas, bots and PvP. Version 1.1 followed on 18 August, adding fair matchmaking, a less predictable bot, emotes and a win-streak bonus.
Matches remain short duels on a grid. Winning streaks earn an additional reward, while emotes let you react to an opponent’s move. This is a review of an existing update, rather than a new release on 16 October.
